据了解，重庆铁路枢纽东环线起于江津区，经珞璜、茶园、龙盛、统景、木耳、水土，止于襄渝铁路磨心坡站，正线全长155.5公里，有望今年底达到开通条件。这段时间，永川到璧山的永璧高速公路也在有序推进，走进璧山金龙隧道施工现场，挖掘机运转不停，工人正争分夺秒地进行洞身开挖。这条隧道是连接永川和璧山的重难点控制性工程，全长超过1400米，地质状况较为复杂。
